Preparation
The symbol was prepared with 3ds Max. The symbol maps with a baked texture, renders and rotates with WebGL and JavaScript.
Export 3D models as DAE files in 3ds Max. I translate models into a set of WebGL arrays with my 3D Translator. It's free on the Microsoft Store.

Logo Versus Symbol
Often people use the term logo
instead of symbol
.
However logo
usually involves a brand's name in a specific font separate from, or along with,
a standalone symbol
. For example the text which says Nike
,
can stand apart from the well known Nike, swoosh
. The Nike swoosh
represents Nike
quickly and easily, apart
from the text.
The swoosh
alone is the symbol. The Nike
text is the logo.
