Shape Descriptions

Pyramid

A pyramid is a polyhedron with four triangular faces which share one vertex. The base of a square pyramid is a square with four edges. Four triangular faces rise from the base and join at the shared vertex.

Cube

The cube is the only regular hexahedron. The term regular means all side lengths and angles are equal, for each face. The term hexahedron means it has six faces. Each face, on this cube, has a different color, yet the same size and angle between edges.
