Flames of fire swirl and flicker as you swipe over the hills, sky and waterscape. Visual effect prepared with 3ds Max, Photoshop and WebGL. Inspiration for this scene's from the Apocalypse.

3ds Max
Background hills, water and sky modeled with 3ds Max and modified with animated fire effects.
Photoshop
Photoshop modifications include a ripple filter, contrast and color.
Implementation
Rendering software was prepared with WebGL, GLSL shaders and JavaScript.
Spherical panoramic views from 3ds Max were mapped
to the inside of a sphere with WebGL.
Two texture maps load and mix with the WebGL
OpenGL ES mix() method.
Inspiration
