Efficient Rendering

You're viewing this landscape from the center of a sphere. Downloads are much faster when complex scenes render and display to the inside of a sphere. Most scenes require thousands of vertices that take a long time to download and initialize.

The background scene was modeled with 3ds Max, rendered to a spherical map, then applied to the inside of a sphere with WebGL.

3D Environments

All scenes by Seven Thunder Software load with efficient 3D rendering software. Save download time with basic shaders and one texture graphic.

Skybox Waste

Avoid skyboxes, multiple image files, and separate shaders. For example, common skybox programming uses uniform samplerCube with method textureCube() to display six images at a time. Additionally textureCube() requires program changes during rendering.

Efficient Backgrounds

The cubic and spherical scenes, I've implemented, require just one program and one image for speedy display time.
